Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Welcome to this website (the ‘Site’). We value and uphold the intellectual property rights of individuals, and we expect the same respect for our rights. According to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17 of the United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their representatives can file a takedown notice with our designated DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against claims of infringement.

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. An official signature from the copyright owner or their authorized representative;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work alleged to have been infringed;
  3. Description of the infringing material to be removed, along with details to help locate it;
  4. Contact details of the complaining party including name, address, email, phone, and fax number;
  5. A statement asserting that the use of the material is unauthorized by the copyright owner; and
  6. A confirmation that the information provided is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Section 512(f) of Title 17 USC allows for penalties, including costs and attorney fees, for knowingly misrepresenting information in an infringement notification under 17 USC §512(c)(3).

Send all takedown notices via our Contact page, preferably through email for prompt processing.

By submitting a claim, you acknowledge that your identity and claim may be shared with the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright claim, you can file a counter-notification to have the material restored. The notification must be sent in writing to our DMCA Agent, containing:

  1. Your signature;
  2. Details of the removed material and its original location;
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the material was taken down mistakenly;
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and consent to jurisdiction for legal purposes.

Submit your counter notice through our Contact page, preferably via email.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy against repeat copyright infringement. We maintain a list of DMCA notices and make efforts to identify repeat infringers. Violators will have their accounts terminated.

Modifications

We reserve the right to amend this policy regarding DMCA claims. Regularly check this page for updates.
