‘Last time I confess my real feelings’ – Humphries

Last time I confess my real feelings
It was a warm summer evening when I finally mustered up the courage to confess my true feelings to him. The words felt heavy on my tongue, but I knew I had to get them out.
As I looked into his eyes, I saw a mix of surprise and curiosity. I knew I was taking a risk, but it was a risk worth taking.
I poured my heart out to him, revealing all the emotions I had kept hidden for so long. It was a vulnerable moment, but I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
To my surprise, he listened intently, hanging on to every word I said. I could see the emotions flickering in his eyes, and for a moment, I dared to hope.
After I finished speaking, there was a moment of silence that felt like an eternity. And then, he spoke. His words were kind, but they were not what I wanted to hear.
He explained that while he cared for me deeply, he did not feel the same way. It was a blow to my heart, but I knew I had to respect his honesty.
As we parted ways that evening, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of sadness. But deep down, I knew that I had done the right thing by confessing my feelings.
It was a moment of vulnerability and courage that I would never forget. And despite the outcome, I was grateful for the experience.
